Description: The Florida Everglades are sometimes known as the River of Grass. This four-movement fantasy depicts scenes from the Everglades. Big Water (English for the Mikasuki word Okeechobee), Mahogany Hammock, Shark Valley, Ten Thousand Islands. Each movement bears a descriptive phrase indicating tempo, or at least musical sense, and implying something about the environment depicted: Flowing, murmuring, with a summer storm; Tranquil, with birdsong; Still and sultry, with mosquitoes; Joyously, a journey with quiet interludes.
Items: The product download includes one full score, one flute part, one violin part, and one page 9 of the flute part, and one page 9 of the violin part, the latter two provided to assist with awkward page turns. If hardcopies are ordered, the same five items will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT COPY. If you need more than one copy, please order multiples of the product. PDF files are formatted for 8½x11 in multiples of four pages with blank pages embedded as needed making the documents suitable for booklet printing on 11x17.
